Baylor Healthcare’s 2013 merger with the Scott and White Health System has created the 11th largest system in the country, with a service area covering most of central Texas, 43 hospitals, 500 patient care sites, 6,000 affiliated physicians, and 34,000 employees.
Dr. Lister, having advised both the Board of Trustees and the all-physician Board of Directors at Scott and White for over a decade prior to the merger, has been asked to support the development of governance structures across all the physician practices of the merged entity.

The Yale New Haven Health System – a subsidiary of Yale University, in New Haven, Connecticut – partners closely with the Yale University School of Medicine as well as a large number of community physicians associated with the System’s three hospitals.
As the System prepares to deal with the changing dynamics of health care reimbursement and the opportunity provided by shifts into population-based treatment models, it has committed to judiciously and thoughtfully integrating all of the physicians involved in its facilities.

The Carle Foundation is the largest group practice-based integrated delivery system in central Illinois.
